I would if I was having hot convertor issues , ran 727`s behind a hemi super stock engine for 14 yrsr , ... with absolutely no problems from that ... ro each his own..

I wouldnt either on a chevrolet trans , they were very very porous compaired to a chrysler hemi trans , understand ur concern even if it is an aftermarket , but 2 small holes stategically placed about the size of a 1 or 2 gal. water sprayer tip wouldnt weaken it that much...

do you have cooling holes in the bell housing to cool the convertor between rounds ? worked for us to certain extent ..
