I've "back yarded" a hole saw to enlarge an existing hole by clamping/bolting a wood brace to the part in back of the hole. You could use the lug holes... ...and work slowly and carefully with a real metal tooth profile. Diamond grit would be better.

A cursory glance at Crutchfield shows 90dB is the mid to higher end of sensitivity for 6.5" speakers they have available. They are fine, but I wouldn't throw 300 watts at them with that smallish magnet. With that 90dB sensitivity- means they will be efficient at lower wattage anyway.

I see a lot of honda groms around here. 125cc, but they have good high gears. My yamaha 125 zuma will take one off the line but groms will top end me and keep going. If you have U pull junk yards you could look for an 80's 5th Ave. That will have a sanden bracket for a 318, which will work. A small block truck is a possible option, too. Up until 91 I think.

That shoudn't be a problem. The problem is the other way. Using 4 ohm speakers with an 8 ohm amp can blow the amp. 8 ohm speakers on a 4 ohm amp just reduces the power level that the speaker "sees". It will basically sound about half as loud.
