Anyone actually recover a missing fender tag?

And yet in all the years I've played with these cars I've never know of a fender tag to be stolen.... If that's a concern for you there are lots of invisible ways to prevent the tag getting stolen.... But on the other hand I've known of quite a few tags to disappear/ get misplaced after being...

    K-frame alignment?

Tell us about your lower control arms.... Since they are the pieces in between the K member and the front of the torsion bars.... Honestly I lean toward the rear torsion bar anchor crossmember being bent but I'm willing to look elsewhere... If you pull the torsion bar out of the front...

    .150 clutch pack clearance

When you run the tight end of the spec it tends to cause shift overlap, personally I'd look at adding another clutch and another steel... Might need a thinner pressure plate to do it but more clutches never hurts.... I agree with 413 that adding a used steel is an accepted way to tighten the...

Whats in your backyard? Part 1

Just a photo taken of a planter box in my back yard... There's a block wall, the planter box is made with more of the same blocks... There's LED rope in the bottom of the planter & LED rope on the back edge of the block wall... There are seven 60' tall Coastal Redwoods behind the wall so the...

    42RH advice needed

How's the fluid look/smell? Adjusting the kickdown band might help but usually if it's slipping that badly it's to late.... Rear clutch is applied in all forward gears, if it were slipping you should notice it in high gear... OD direct clutch is backed up by the OD sprag so I doubt that's...

    904? 46RH? 727? Opinions?

Who built the 46RH? They can handle a lot more that 300 HP when built correctly... Even bone stock they would handle 300 HP for a heck of a lot longer than 15 miles.... Find a better builder & keep the 46 RH....

How many of you grease your own trailer axles?

I've seen to many trailer axles with the brakes full of grease....Bearing Buddies are a disaster waiting to happen... Take the damn things apart every few years clean & repack... And don't crank the bearings down to tight.... Like the O/P stated, "so I tightened them until the brake drum...

New rallye dash replacement gauges/tachs (some insider news from the supplier)
