    I ran my W5 stroker right at 7500 through the traps for years. This was 4.100 bore/ 4 inch stroke and 6.300 compstar rods, I used to race a ton back then, points, etc, etc.

    Nothing wrong with a zero deck piston. Mine are at zero deck( flattops) I suspect that is what the build is using. Probably somewhere around a 60cc head which would yield about 12.5 compression like stated in the build. Yes, with a 9.200 deck you are really cramming the piston with a 4 inch...

    I would use a 3.79 type deal with that short deck, but they probably had a bunch of short deck blocks around they need to get rid of. Yes, that results in a short custom piston. Nothing wrong with it in a race motor

    Mainly around 1800-2300 feet while racing Saturday Was 3200+ on fri during my two test and tune hits. 63 and 65 on those two hits. 56-57 all day Sat. Air was 2300 Sunday but humidity was way higher went 58 and 60 in Elims ,no time trial.

    Dark, couldn’t find what I did with last couple slips, but went out 011 red. Sucks because ran dead on with a zero 6.56( new best) and opponent was beatable with an 025 bulb.
