Same here, Luckily I found a short shaft fan, can't remember from where, as I understand that the fan should be 3/4 inch from radiator for maximum effect..

Imagine how many got thrown out over the years...

I understood that Mopar could not get the emissions from the Hemi's in an acceptable range....???

I haven't used 1 in yrs, was good then, maybe their quality control has diminished

Is that for an older AFB carb, not the Competition Series AFB, with the bigger throat, same bolt pattern as a Holley ?

I did the same, took my /6 drive shaft to a machine shop that specialized in shafts. The tech said it was worth 400+ HP.

I drove my 70 Dart from Reno to Fl. Everywhere we stopped someone had a Dart story (mostly older folks) IIRC, 70-72 darts total production was close to a million cars. So they're still some left !
