oil filters what do u use and why

I spoke with John at Jomar at length about filters. I had a question and he took the time to educate me about filters. Next best choice to a Jomar filter per John is Motorcraft due to a higher bypass pressure.

    The Mack truck

I started driving in 1976. Drove a few Brockways in my early career. Pieces of **** for sure. They rode like crap. Had wood floors. Rattled to beat the band. Headlight's bounced around like a disco ball just to name a few.

    The Mack truck

The joke about the bulldog is why does it face forward? So one asshole can look at the other. Why don’t they tun it around? They don’t want two assholes running down the road at the same time.

    The Mack truck

Today Mack isn’t a Mack at all. Since Volvo bought Mack in 2000 they basically cloned the Volvo with Mack badges, engines and all.

    Tips for the track?

Taking the clamps off lets the car anti squat and push the tire into the track. Clamps on the rear hinder the process. IMHO.

    Tips for the track?

Note, the body raises and drives the tire into the track.

    Tips for the track?

Spring will bind up and you will get wheel hop. Take the rear clamps off and leave them off.

I bought the ebay kit ($9.99) for my H4 lights. 16ga wires do not get hot, or warm for that matter.

    [FOR SALE] 600 Qft Slayer.

Have almost new QFT 600 Slayer carb for sale. Vacuum secondary and electric choke. Looked to pick up a little at the track vs Eddy 600. No difference but the QFT has better response on the street. Swapped out the QFT for a Eddy 650, annular boosters. Guess what. Drag times exactly the same...

    Classic ins/ driver eligability

I have my 67 Valiant insured with American Collector. Under AC you need to be listed on the policy and need 10 yr experience. My grandson now 16 and has his license, has ridden in the car since forever but can’t drive it due to driver eligibility requirements. Only option is regular car...

275/60/15 sidewall clearance to leaf spring clamps- suggestions?

Leave the clamps off of the rear section. You don’t want them there if you’re going to hit the drags anyways.
