The one I pulled off my CA-built 65 motor looks quite similar to the one in your top picture complete with some old red paint matching the faded red on the engine block. I suspect the factory used ehatever they had left since my wagon is a very late July build. I had it powdercoated red. I will take some pictures later this morning’s
