My very first pass in my Daytona was a 9.55 in a with a stock crank 440 with Indy heads. I was totally shocked because I kinda babied it. New car new engine so I took it easy. Next time out it was running 8.90’s.
If I can be just under 2500 pounds I think my engine would put me in the 8's. I am shooting for under 3000 pounds with all steel body parts.
I still have more weight I can get out of the car too
