How to clear your Massages i select them go to bottom does not have delete. shows up for selecting

It's a pain.

I have to do them one at a time, by going into the message thread and selecting "leave conversation".

REALLY a pain since on FBBO, I was gold and am not anymore...and have over 100 message threads but am only allowed to have 15.

Not sure why bulk delete is not available.
