[FOR SALE] 68 Dart Tail Light Buckets

I have a pair of NEW tail light buckets that I purchased and never got around to installing. They have some dust on them from sitting around the garage but they are still in their original boxes. I’d take $225 for them shipped anywhere in the continental US. PM me with any questions. Thanks!

Should I be feeling more power?

We have a local shop here that charges $150/hr with a two hour minimum. My friend took his recently rebuilt 440 Coronet there and the guy tuned it and ran it twelve times on the dyno. He found 56 rear wheel horsepower on a car that we thought ran pretty well. It was well worth the money spent.

Old style crager wheels and tires fir my duster. Opinion needed

The picture of my car in post #24 show how 15's on back and 14's on front look. I'm happy with it. Good luck!

Tuff style wheel for a 68

Yes, I put an aftermarket steering wheel on my 67-69 steering column. I had to adapt an original Tuff wheel mounting can because I felt the mounting kit sold by Grant looked cheesy. It wasn't too tough. Here's a shot of completed assembly and one of it in the car.

Old style crager wheels and tires fir my duster. Opinion needed

Thanks. About an hour with some steel wool really cleaned them up. Here's what I started with.

Old style crager wheels and tires fir my duster. Opinion needed

Like other's have said, I'd keep looking for 15" Cragars. Better selection of tires and plenty of clearance. I'm putting 15" Ansen slots on the front of my Duster with steelies on back. I looked for 6 months before I found a decent pair. As far as the 15X8 rallyes, Summit has them for $170...

    Tips for the track?

I'd like to know this info also. Can you please post what the track says? When are you planning on going? Maybe we could have a Mopar day at the track. I know a few people who might be interested.

What to use when drying off car after wash?

You can go to a local automotive paint house or some auto parts stores, and they have a spectrophotometer. They use it to sample your current paint. Then they take the info from the photometer and mix up your color. They can put it in a pint can or even a spray bottle. My local O'reilly store...

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

It's just going to be a nice cruiser. He ain't got the need for speed. I'm not sure what's up with all of the Coke? I'll have to ask next time.

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

I know it's not everyone's favorite but I helped a buddy put the front end of his Camaro back together yesterday. New subframe, steering and brakes. That's my buddy taking a break with my favorite cold beverage.

What to use when drying off car after wash?

I have been using the same chamois for the last twenty years or so. When I'm done with it, I run it through the rinse cycle only of the wash and then fold it nicely on top of the dryer. When it's dry, I put it back in a small box that I keep in my trunk. It's nice to have at shows in case of a...

    Fresh from polish!

I just bought these wheels last week. I hit them with some steel wool just enough to get the oxidation off of them. I don't plan on having them polished. Gonna take some elbow grease but I think they'll be cool. Before after about thirty minutes. I'll spend more time on them later...

    360ci Oil and Oil Filter

The catalog says that the Wix 51068 is the filter I'd be looking for. The Castrol will be fine this time, but I would consider the suggestions from the group, that are surely going to follow.

Next Phase of my Mopar Life

More progress was made last weekend. VoeTom came over and we installed the offset dowels for the bellhousing. Total run out is now within specs. I replaced the pilot bushing and installed the flywheel, clutch and pressure plate. We had the spark plugs out to make it easier to rotate, and I...

Steps Prior to 340 Engine Install

I always like to use the opportunity to clean while the engine is out. I hate it when I see a brand new shiny engine in a crappy engine compartment. Think diamond in a goat's butt.

    Clutch advice

I am getting ready to put this McLeod RST dual disc in my Duster. It is supposed to handle the power level I'm building and still remain streetable. It was recommended to me by Brewer's.
