I may be interested in the 14x9 wheels. have you ever had them on a car? How much modifications would be required to a 69 Dart to get them to fit. Backspace measurement?
I think it is a great gesture to try and reunite an engine to a car. I have listed four 340 blocks in hope to reunite them to their original car and I am looking for two 340 blocks and one 440 block.
Still looking.
This engine and 4 speed were removed so a highly modified engine and auto trans purchased from JEGS could be installed. There is a good chance it still exists.
I have a pair of factory scoops that I would like to trade for a pair of 68 GTS hood inserts in good shape. The scoops came off a 71 Duster. I think they are the same for the Demon.
I put 3 blocks on here looking for the cars they belong to. I wish everyone would do the same. Maybe I would find my original block. Thank you for posting yours. Maybe someone will get lucky
I never said only A body engined were drilled. I said not all 383 blocks were drilled. As a matter of fact the 440 in my 69 1/2 A12 Road Runner is drilled and tapped for the A body mount.
If my memory is correct, you are correct that all 383 blocks were not drilled and tapped for the A body mount just like all 440 blocks, although different than the 383 were not drilled and tapped for A body mounts
I believe it came out of a 1973 Road Runner but I'm not sure if that was the original trans. That bare case has Been sitting about 30 years so anything is possible
