    Schneider does good work. I swapper a Howards solid FT for a Schneider in my Dart and the acceleration difference is night and day. Ken's a great guy too, but he is limited to the profile catalog he has. JIM @ Racer Brown just sent me a solid FT to try, and the lobes have a very broad nose.

    That's what my machinist suggested. I run a decent mechanical pump. I believe its about 90 gpm. 26/10/15 slick 4 speed, 3.55/ 3.91. 4.30 no exceptional change in 60'. I swapped to a 11.5;1 360 and a Schneider grind 246/.510 solid on 110 with 308 heads and same spec valve springs. 1.94 1.6 valves...

    Dual pattern cam makes up for poor exhaust port. Surely it won’t hurt. Oem heads are done by .440 lift. The comp 260 is another good grind. 212/212-.440

    I run early 318 heads with small valves 208/214 delta cam, and 9:1 in a w100 @ 4700 ft. 800 Rochester on a stock spread-bore. Save your money. Pulls from the bottom and hold 85on the freeway with ease 29” tire 3:55. 302 heads aren’t magic.

    Head gasket recommendations

    I have ran the Mr. Gaskets with aluminum heads with out issue on my 360. My other car has the Holley's I believe that are a bit thicker, .05 with 11.5:1 and 308 castings.
