    Quiet muffler

Did Dual FX-Sound mufflers mid stream. Dual Resonators at the very rear. Not loud, but nice tone, with a 318. Always like to have the resonators in line like Ma Mopar did. ☆☆☆☆☆

    Where to go next?

I always find life is a lot more interesting when you are on a mission. Whatever it may be... Your last big mission was doing that aftermarket AC conversion on one of your vehicles. No easy task, and now you have successfully climbed that mountain. Time to throttle back, recharge and...

    Any Pertronix experts here?

It works so nice, and simple. @318willrun showed me how to set these up 2 years ago. Have been a big fan ever since. I figured it out that you need to run the straight 12 volt powered E-Coil for the hotter spark instead of the tower coils, while I was doing the test runs on the engine run...

    Any Pertronix experts here?

This is so simple > 1995 Ford F150, 2 spade E-Coil. Straight 12 volts to the coil, no ballast resistors. Coil runs cool to the touch. Quick starts, hot sparks, plugs burn clean. Running this now on the '89 318 4 barrel conversion setup. Starts like it has fuel injection on a cold...

What kind of fuel do you run?

Non-Ethanol at $4.99 a gal. for this Carbureted Converted '89 318 here in Florida. Fortunately it is only 5 minutes to everything in down town Palm Bay. Can run a lot of errands for minimal gas when things are close by. ☆☆☆☆☆

HEI Conversion Question and Holley 2280 Lingering Issue

You need to run the E-coil and full 12 volts that powers it, they run cool to the touch with the Mopar HEI conversions. Not the original tower coil and ballast resistor setup. Simple 2 spade (+) and (-). Exact same coil used on Ford 1995 F150. Like 20 bucks at Rock Auto. Handy lead from...

Should I be feeling more power?

The secondary electric fuel pump back at the tank should look something like this: ☆☆☆☆☆

Should I be feeling more power?

Yes, bypass or remove the secondary fuel pump. = More Power, More Performance ☆☆☆☆☆

Should I be feeling more power?

Yes, it should perform better with your existing layout. Loose the secondary electric fuel pump, it is causing restriction to the amount of fuel the manual on the engine fuel pump can pull. Here is a "Visual" for you: Think about it, the factory fuel line from the tank is 5/16" in diameter...

Time to be creative and have a laugh. No more in the tank electric fuel pump. There are good deals on Facebook Marketplace from people who no longer have a use for their items. Rethink > Reuse ☆☆☆☆☆

Same thing happened to me back in 2020, just up and died out of nowhere, '76 D100. Replaced with a new Ignition Control Module from the local parts store, never failed again. This one was a Standard LX100 5 pin. Happy Trucking ☆☆☆☆☆

Old style crager wheels and tires fir my duster. Opinion needed

Here is a set of 14"s like you are talking, fits the look of the car nice. Lately he has gone to the next larger 14" tire from the 235s to give it more tread width and diameter for a little more rake on the stance. Monroe Rear Air Assist Shocks that give a nice ride. Running 3.23 rear 8 3/4...

    Magnum swap plan

Did a keyed start wire > to trigger full 12 volts to ignition coil feed circuit by way of the relay. Keeps the load off the ignition switch/circuit, and full 12 volt power to the e-coil. (12 volts, not 7 volts like the ballast resistor ignitions). Green wire is the feed wire to the e-coil...
