Short Shaft Slip Yoke 727's in Old Airport Tugs?

These DeLorean (Yes, same DeLorean as the car) T40 tugs might have a slip yoke shorty 727. Our shop tug was one of these when I was in the Air Force. It had a /6, shorty 727, 7.17 Dana 60 and reduction gear box. It's been almost 30 years since I've seen one, but since the tug was pretty small...

[Found!] 122 tooth Slant 6 flywheel

I have this one for $65 with shipping included. It's got the big register hole and the threads are good. It fits good in the medium flat rate box with a few offset 2 x 4s and I will add a few more layers of cardboard in the box and wrap the ring gear with a few layers of duct tape.

    An Orion transmission?

They were made by Tremec and were based off of the 3.03 Ford/Tremec 3-speed but with a different input and tailshaft. I don't know what the relationship was between Ford and Tremec, but the Ford Toploader was also made by Tremec. Here is another version used in '66-9 GM BOP A bodies. 3.03 is the...

    Blueprint crate engine

Those older 8-3/4 have the ratio stamped on the bottom. If it is a Sure Grip, an "S" is also stamped. I can't find anything about this anywhere. I should have taken a few pictures of the example that I had. I'm thinking it was a rear out of a '62 Savoy with a 741 case 3.23 Sure Grip so they were...

    Identify this Hays clutch disc.

It has a flat plate carrier and looks like a 10.95" disc that is used with a 130-tooth flywheel with the scalloped pressure plate but will work with a true 11" pressure plate with no issues. I have a similar one and you can see that there is no marcel.

    A833 info

This has a chance of having the 3.09/1.92/1.40/1 gearset since it could have been for an early '74 model year car based on the date and would also have the 904 26 spline output.

T5 Five speed slant six 74 Dart Sport.

If you can live with the ratios, the '94-04 SN95 Mustang V-6 T5s and '94-5 V-8 have a longer input that may be perfect to use for adapter plate applications. The V-6 ratios/gears are the same as 5.0 Fox body T5s but use a longer input shaft. I didn't read the whole thread, so this may have been...
