I've been hearing this same story a lot lately. Whatever you decide to do you can always buy another car :thumbsup: I've found having a simple combo, stick shift, with street gears keeps my interest at a high level.

They might be able to weld it up, all else fails they have cam cores they sell at a pretty reasonable price.

I'm happy with this cam (4 speed 3.23's). I cleaned the lifters, installed a good timing chain, and swapped out the cam bearings.

It's kind of sad in a way, held onto it for that many years and never got to enjoy it again. I'd be curious to hear the story, life happens......

Had a lot of problems (thought it was the pan gasket), swapped to this BS40651 felpro viton seal to fix it.

The problem is the package tray fills up with water so I can't have speakers, etc...... It sounds like the Steele gaskets might be better but they have mixed reviews also. If only I had known 10 years ago I'd of been extra careful with the factory one and reused it.

Front windshield was leak free, rear on the other hand.................Leaks like a sieve :poke: The rear glass moved around quite a bit in the gasket (half covering the glass/half in the pinch weld)
