not sure how the adapter would effect the SFI rating of the blow proof bell housing, but cant think of a reason it wouldnt bolt up. the starter looks to be a lower position on the A-100 style adapter? ( darn good question and something I had not considered before )

that looks Real nice , who made that one? have only seen the pictures of the A-100 style

yep, 66 is a one year only deal. found out the hard way after I cut the gasket out on mine.

crazy how the back glass gasket is so expensive, could be worse if it was a 66 your stuck finding a used 53 year old one.

I think if you use the mounts ( rubber part ) for the brackets you have you will be ok. I think there is a post somewhere that explains the difference. I believe the mount changed when the bracket changed.

sway bar mount is different, there is a write up on bigblockdart.com on how to do the conversion. if you are in the Waukesha area we could meet up and you can make an offer.

I think 65 is the same? pretty sure I used the best ones from my valiant & the barracuda I parted.

some guys will run the newer ( Dakota ?? ) roller bearing in the undrilled crank. I think the input shaft needs to be shortened to do it.

I have the bellhousing, z bar, pedals and I think a couple rods even. have a flywheel too but its pretty rough.

I also have a set of pedals, z bar, early A v8 bell housing & flywheel. if you need more than just the pedals.

I have a 65 cable shift ( floor shifter ) complete with kick-down and shifter & floor brackets. fluid was clean but, I never got to drive it ( motor was stuck ). I have the driveshaft as well ( to 7.25 rear ).
