My W2 408 recently put down 17.89MPG (Imperial), on a 320 mile road trip, 2850 RPM constant. Proper timing, and the Edelbrock 800 AVS 2, are certainly helping.

That model I have not, I have been so turned off since the regular orange Fram, I now use Wix exclusively on all our vehicles.

I'd be less worried about where it is made, than how it is made. Don't take my word for it, do some research on the subject.

Fram is likely the worst filter you could buy, I don't care where it's made. Cut one open and look at the filter medium. I recommend Wix filters. Napa Gold are made by Wix. In all honesty, Fram is trash.
