It has a Dynamic 5500 stall. Very happy with it. I foot brake the car and can get it to hold at 3000 then it starts to push.

have some rebuilding of things to do on the list this winter. I have a 904 low gear and was wondering what or if there would be any benefit in my combo for it. 340/w2/.590/5.13/29.5x12x15 tire. Happy to give any other info and thanks for the replies.

i have a .590 Purple Shaft in a 340, with Aries domed pistons, and open W2's. Lash has been set at .25/.25 cold and I'm wondering how far I can push it (.18/.20 cold?). What are you setting your lash at with these cams and does anyone have info as to why Mopar wants them set up so loose? Thanks...

Okay, guess I should answer your question! I use Drag Racing Workbench and Race IQ. Race IQ is an excellent app for recording passes and offers lots of data and is set up pretty much like a log book.

I downloaded No Limit drag racing. It's fun and probably has the most realism for tuning. Doorslammers is fun and cool and had slightly better graphics. Only other one I tried was CSR Racing Classics it was great graphically and had a fun storyline. All of them offer decent selections for...

How long are yours? Cut mine at the track yesterday to help tune things a bit. The paint burnt off roughly around 12 or so inches. I though I had read they are typically longer than that but I know every combo is different. This is a small block Dart.

I would spend money on rods and pistons before I sprung for a custom grind cam. Even lightening the existing pistons if they checked out well enough. I do have a brand new set of ARP waveloc rod bolts if you need them though.

Thanks for the reply. I tried looking on Lunatis website and typing in the number did not produce any results. I believe the other one is a Mopar Purple 557lift I'll have to get a hold of a book.

I would like some help decoding a couple of cams if possible. The first one is a Lunati, numbers on it are: 104 SPI2-306. The second one has no manufacturer marking, but the numbers read: 847700 on the end it does have purple on it so maybe it's a Mopar cam? Thanks for any help.

Kasey, I have the same ones on my Dart. I ran them and just thought it was the way it's going to be. However mine are not coated just the factory black. Not that I'm any help for you, I just wanted to llet you know I had the same problem.
