67 318 running temps in the summer

Its not the original motor. Someone swapped it in at some point. It was an original 273 car. Not sure what the 318 is out of

67 318 running temps in the summer

Today was a victory with all the advice. I ditched the electric fan and installed the mechanical with no shroud. Cruised the freeway at 3100 rpm and never went above 175. Slow cruising in town never went over 185. And it was 100 degrees outside. I am more than happy with those numbers...

Doesn't fit as a puller unfortunately. Only got 3 inches of space. Fan runs off a painless kit with 180 on/160 off switch. Pulleys are just stock pulleys

67 318 running temps in the summer

Hoping the community has some wisdom to lay on me. I have a 65 Dart Wagon. It has a 67 318 in it. It was running 210+ when the outside temp started getting above 90 degrees. I just put a cold case aluminum radiator with 2 row 1.25" cores and a flex a lite 3000cfm 16" fan. Still ran about...

Does anybody know where I can get some reasonably priced steel wheels for a 65 Dart? I need 2 for the front. They are a 5 on 4 (101.6) bolt pattern. Any help is appreciated

    Early 904 kickdown linkage

Sounds reasonable. Upper is 67 but the lower is just a straight pivot. I found what looks like the correct pivot from classic industries and I will try the 8 inch length that Signet measured

    Early 904 kickdown linkage

I guess I should specify that its a 67 318 4bbl in a 65 dart wagon. Car was originally a 273 car so I assume the trans is the original 904

    Early 904 kickdown linkage

I'm not sure exactly which year. Its in a 65 but the motor is out of a 67. I assumed the trans was original

    Early 904 kickdown linkage

Does anybody know the length of the circled rod? It goes from the throttle valve arm at the transmission to the lower bellcrank pivot. I currently have the wrong lower pivot and rod. I can find the pivot but I can't find the rod. Mine is adjustable, so if I can get the length I can make it...
