1969 Race Dart w/ 426 Hemi- garaged for 45+ years

I’ve been a similar situation although MUCH smaller scale. Where I had a guy build an engine with mostly my supplied parts. I didn’t ask him his rate, how much he thought it would cost or anything like time ect. I knew I could trust him and this was at the top of my list. Like they say...

1968 Barracuda Trunk Trim Restored by PartsMonsta

If I misunderstood you, I apologize. It seems at times that some people will stereotype, if you use f&f=not paying taxes. OR, you will rip an unsuspecting member off. Back to good and bad business.

I pay taxes, it’s just let’s say have a part you sell for x amount of money. The government doesn’t know how you got it. You may have bought it, got it with/in a car or truck. It’s not 100% profit. Why should we have to deal with every little thing we buy and sell in this world as private...

I prefer other payment methods when selling parts. If it has to be PayPal, I again prefer its friends and family. I never demand it, the only reason for friends and family is because of the tax reporting requirement. It’s not worth it to me to go that route. I believe if you are going to rip...

It’s not too late for him to reimburse, and try to recover from this. It’s called the cost of doing business. Either you do right by your customers, or someone else will take care of them .

I understand this, BUT, if he has ANY integrity, and wants to continue to sell anything here, whether it’s restoration services or parts, he NEEDS to reimburse you completely. Someday we will ALL have to answer for our actions. I hope he does some deep soul searching in this matter.

I think that if @partsmonsta wanted to continue to advertise here and restore or sell anything else, he needs to make things right with you. To me, that would mean a complete refund, and I would want proof of insurance on anything being shipped by him. I always pay for additional insurance to...

    My backyard

There was a post made recently sorta the same thing. Maybe why no one has responded? Whats in your backyard? Part 1 Nice car you have. A good friend had one 40+ years ago in high school. 383 auto trans. M50’s on the back and he would smoke the tires at red lights while cruising. He didn’t care...

    converting to electric

One advantage I like with the electric pump is the ability to have a hidden switch for fuel. I’ve used hidden switches for ignition also. Another anti theft device. Like JY Hero, I like the tanks inc system because it’s quite and top quality.

There is a lot more to it than looks though. It is functionality. I was running a dual plane Edelbrock with a single Holley a few years back. On a hot day, you could hear the fuel boiling in the carb when the engine was shut down. I went to an air gap and that helped, but it would still get...

Six pack fits under the ‘67 hood but is very close! The spool mounts help I believe.

Yea, the wing takes the attention off the exhaust. Maybe you should go with a little more pipes.

I like it Al, it’s ok to claim as yours. (but you should probably post on the other forum).

The first tunnel ram I had the carbs sat sideways. It would have required the right side insert to be partially cut or at least that area. So, I ran without a hood for a while. This intake allowed me to change the carb placement so I went with it. The offset is noticeable but, that’s how these...

I was thinking fiberglass hood and scoop at one time also. Decided to stay with steel and just cut a hole in it.
