Im running 235/60/14 on all four corners of my Scamp. Have been for over 16 years on stock 14x6’’ rallye rims.

I did that exact upgrade earlier this spring. It will take another 2 litres with the deeper pan once you have the TC filled.

From the photo is looks correct for 72 or 73. If it has the fresh air flapper door on the floor of the air cleaner it would be correct for his 72. If it’s got no flapper air door then it’s a year off. 70/71 air cleaners are the (expensive) un-silenced ones.

The codes on a fender tag I don’t think are consistent from plant to plant or year to year. My tag doesn’t have an alternator code (F code) yet I’ve seen many tags that do have a F code. And my Scamp did come with an alternator!

There’s not a lot of people restoring the tail end era of the A bodies unless it’s for sentimental reasons. Therefore the cash value of the ‘heavy/safety’ bits isn’t high. When you do take off one of the bumper shock absorbers, can you weigh it and let us know the weight of it?

I can’t help you with your question but will say those Interceptors are a neat bit of history! Some of them came with 440 six packs that Chrysler sold to them in 1971! Not that I want to spoil the fun but the six pack setup was not a success for Jensen.
