Drivers Clesters door seal in and drying. Remembered I had some foam sheeting. Cut a template out of cardboard and made some flaps for the front edge of the door that these seals are lacking.

Nothing but good things to say about Clesters seals for the A100. Door seals had the correct anchor pins and fit perfectly. They don’t have that flat flap on the front edge though like the Precision ones did but these actually fit. This is just a piece of foam glued on the Precision so I will...

    1966/'69 A100 Twins Build

Ever have one of those days. One step forward one step back. Worst part is I forgot to put a hole in the roof repair on the RH side to get the RH dome lamp wiring through. Luckily the Quiet Ride panels allow some flexibility where I can run the harness and not see it. All run and tested...

As retired electrical engineer this is the part I have been dreading. I did this for 25 years and have had enough! The heat is on so limiting my time in the garage until the summer rains start and it cools off some. Ordered only #8 screw 90 degree push on fittings and of course the fuel...

    Alignment specs for manual steering.

We have a '63 Dart /6 and '66 Valiant V8. Where the manual says to put the Dart would be crazy by todays standards. It wants a negative caster! I crank the adjuster all the way to get the upper control arm balljoint to be as far back as possible (max positive caster) then I will back it off...

    FBO plate over advancing

I would just weld up the plate a bit as you know you don't need much. At the end of the day I personally don't think there will be much noticeable difference in a few degrees of initial timing as long as the all in is right. It will be much better than it was and with lighter springs it will...

Prestolite wipers. Same for A100 and early A Bodies. The only thing that goes bad is the cloth wire wrap disintegrates and shorts out and burns out the switch (or is the pivots are bound up and you keep running the motor and burning it up, never seen that in an Az car since the wipers almost...

Heat shrink tubing is great for restoring cables with failing sleeves. Blasted and lubed the shifter cable then wrapped it in heat shrink tubing to restore the sheathing. All the floor rubber seals for cable, rods and pipes restored and installed. All floor peddles and switches cleaned and...

I won’t get those 6 hours of my life back. Now i need to light the fire under my transmission guy so this shifter has something useful to do.

    Any Pertronix experts here?

I have run the factory coil and the ballast resistor on all my cars for years. The higher the resistance the lower the stresses on the Petronix module (to a point).
