I want to buy a 2-3 ton floor jack to replace a gifted one. I want to lift the front of my 1965 Signet and then use jack stands. I'll do tires and such and also use it 2-3 a year. Trouble is I don't like to buy unsafe jacks but I don't want to spend a butt load of dough. Is there a decent...

I like that tire size. I get concerned there's not enough clearance around the wheel openings. Looks like yours is fine.

On a different note, I'd love to find a flat tire replacement for my 215/70/R14. Anyone ever done this?

As you can see, I have a 65 Signet I've pretty much updated over the last 30 years. If you ever run into a jam, I may have some suggestions. Nice car, by the way.

Metro makes great stuff. I've replaced my 65 Valiant convertible roof rails three times and the sides always shrink leaving a 1/8" gap. I wish I could defy this shrinkage.
