I have the same problem. As many times as I close ads, there's no "Leave" conversation option from within the convo; and while I can select multiple convos for dismissal, there's no option to leave multiple conversations either.
Here's the statement about the kit on their website: "Steering Column Knuckle Kit All Makes. Technically for the 1967 and newer columns, but we have used them for earlier cars with no issues or problems. 63 -79 - All Mopar -"
I'm guessing the shoes are shot, so if those parts fit I think...
Sorry, Jeff, I didn't realize there was a limit on the number of convos I could retain. I'm trying to delete several, but I don't see a trashcan or delete button. Still poking...
That seems easy enough. This is an attractive proposition to me, for a couple of reasons - I want to patch cracks in the steering wheel, and replace the broken piece that returns the turn signal arm (I have the part, just forget what it's called). And I can take it to a machine shop in the...
No power steering, automatic (no shift lever) - the attached diagram is the closest to what I I have. The play is all at the lower end of the steering shaft (19-15-4), inside the coupling. What is the likely culprit - worn "shoes" (19-15-44)? If I loosen the steering jacket clamp inside the...
Yes, nice clean cut - I suppose someone could have plugged with their own grommet, but it looked designed for it. Unfortunately the plug disintegrated when I removed it.
My V200 wagon did not come originally with a radio. I’ve installed a working one, and there was an antenna delete grommet in the fender. I’ve removed that, but I don’t see where to route the antenna lead. Do I have to drill a hole? Why would there be a fender grommet, but no other plug to...
Yes, I do have the service manual; I was hoping I read it wrong. A couple other steps - drain some coolant, remove the defroster tubes, remove the radio to get to the cables... Prolly some other steps. 15 minutes? A child can do it? OK.
Of course, I can do all these things. But given the...
I'd like to remove mine for servicing. Is it possible to remove it from the engine compartment - or, (*gulp*) can it only be detached by first removing the heater assembly? Asking for a friend.
Yeah, that "in the heater box" threw me - but the resistor was "on" the heater box, and the connectors are now mated. And the radio was already out to replace the defroster grates. Thanks to all for your suggestions and help.
