I have a similar 318 build with 8.7-1 compression, 2.02 J heads, and I used the Comp Cams XE268 that has similar specs to yours. I installed it 4 degrees advanced and it has excellent low end performance. Out of steam by 5500 but that’s ok. Just make sure the valve springs are spec’d to the cam...

I’d install it 4 degrees advanced and send it.

My siblings and I and our spouses are really into polka and Oktoberfest. We actually have our own parties in my sister’s basement, complete with decorations, dancing, and traditional German drinking games. There is polka music on the radio in my garage every Sunday morning.
