Classic air. Honestly if you are looking for a do it yourself. It’s not perfect but it will work.
Being in FLA have you tried to find an ac only install shop? They used to be popular but with the fact most new cars come with ac now standard. Possibly not so much. Showing my age there.

Doug, going from an M1 to an LD340 is a major jump. Problem is you have yet to tell us what you plan for the car.
It’s like wood working- cutting plain Jane 2x4 then you use a 24 tooth blade. But cutting 1x6”oak for trim then you want a much finer blade like 80teeth.

My 72 Demon 340 4 speed with factory power steering has them- I had to remove the draglink to make it easier
No fuss but like said before I bolted them to the engine and raised it up from the bottom.
The Holley blue gaskets are available from summit but not sure what carb you need them for - 1,2,4bbl. I got them recently for a Holley street warrrior.

If it is a 3 speed auto from 1960; isn’t that a cast iron with dual pumps (front and rear)? Not the tf we assume it is?
