REAL centerlines? If so they were available in two backspaces for 8.5x15. 3 5/16, and 4 7/8. The 3 5/16 will not fit, at least not with a proper sized tire for the wheel width.
The 4 7/8 version is what is seen above, and will either be very close to the spring, or rub, depending on how much tire you use.
I am using 15x8.5 with 4 7/8 bs on my 62 savoy, with 10.5" slicks, but I had to make some (approximately) 3/8 spacers to get the tire off the springs.
If they are something other than 15x8 1/2, or CL copies, all bets are off.
Frankly, I think a 15x7 on the rear, and a 15x5 (both CL sizes) will fit better and easier. Good luck!
(I currently own 8 pairs of real centerlines in various styles and sizes, 15x3s 15x5, 15x8.5, 15x10.5, 15x12, 15x14, 16x9, and four different bolt patterns)
