1966/'69 A100 Twins Build

All the issue spots are repaired and I AM DONE PAINTING THIS THING! It still needs a bit of cutting and buffing to get a lot of overspray off it. It will get much more shine when it’s done but now I can do it and know I don’t have to do it again because I have to paint more.

Blacked out behind the grill and PlastiDip on the wire looms to restore them. About all I have time for on Mammas Day. I have a new mini buffer coming Tuesday so the grill will get cut and buffed before it goes back in.

Only planned on experimenting with the front nose Quiet Ride sound deadener but after you are up to your elbow in contact cement you may as well just finish it. There is a definite difference in how hollow it feels in the cab now.

That’s a much better solution to sound deadening than that “spray on” stuff you spent several days to remove at the beginning of this project.

What a beautiful job Jim. I wished I had your skill set!!
