No way.. those webers are cool as hell.. might just take some time to dial in
Don't get me wrong, I love them.
But they are a PITA to tune and understand how they do what they do.
In the future I will post what I am looking at with them right now.
But they look Italian Sexy!
 
Built a heat shield to isolate the carbs from the headers.

Your not a hack!
The Webers have stud mounts on the bottom that can be used to support the carbs.
I just got some 10 MM bolts, cut some spacers and mounted the plate.
Won't make a difference in a Drag Car, but I don't think it will hurt.
And if I drop a jet or screw it should hit the plate and it should be easier to find!
 
That's small town livin right there. Very cool. We're just a few miles from the coast near Charleston so a lot more hectic round here.
We had friends visit us for the Eclipse and they were from Myrtle Beach.
They moved down from MD a few years ago.
They talked about the changes.

Of course living near Dallas is no walk in the park.
