Bigger cam definitely get you 450 + hp, the one you pick probably get you 450 hp maybe come up a little short especially if cr is a little wanting.

The 380hp crate engine makes 400 hp with similar cam and stock magnum heads, don't sound like 450 hp with Trick Flow is that much of s stretch. What's the cr gonna be ? Here's a 450 hp stock short block 5.9l with edelbrock heads and similar cam...

There's tons of areas where we give up optimal power/performance from tires to air filter. Question is, what set of compromise are right for the OP for this car at this particular time ?

Richard Holdener basically say same thing from all of the dyno runs he's done the curve is gonna be pretty much the same just it's gonna be a little higher or lower overall depending on the cr. .5 cr ain't gonna make much difference.

Basically some will be satisfied with the results of this cam others won't be, question is if the OP will be or not, and only he can decide that.

Crazy what you can bring back if they make the panels for it. There's one youtube show I've watched his business is to take ruff Mustangs replace all the rotted panels then sells the completed shell/body to someone else to restore, probably makes a good dollar doing it.

Every engine got what I call free power, basically the power the stock heads and cr is capable of supporting with basic hot rodding, cam 4bbl headers tune etc.. A stock 318 should be able to squeeze 275-300 hp without going too crazy with cam. Now above that heads and cr need to be addressed and...
