Obviously Joe's truck has more than 375 hp (gross crank dyno trim hp) and if it can't mph what you'd expect a 450-500 hp would do for a given weight (his truck) there must be situations where a vehicle comes up majorly short in mph on the track. Obviously the answer isn't if it comes up short...

I get that but what proof is there that these calculators are accurate in the 1st place, the original formula was based off some guys hp estimation in the 50/60's and later Road and Track data, no actual dyno results, and when there is dyno results the calculator is assumed to be correct and...

But also why dyno's put out different results, cause the conditions of the test were different changing the power being made.

I just find it funny how a Calculated hp results are held in a higher regard than a dyno's measurement.

To me Dyno = Potential, Track = How well that potential is being used.

Depends on how well you ported the Stock Magnum heads, they could be flowing similar, so no real gain is possible. If half way in between with mild cam may not do all that much especially for the $$$$$. How much gain would you need to feel worth it?

A small port like that flowing 233 cfm must of had fairly high average velocity.
