    R6/P8 Engine platform

I am kinda surprised( as good a head as the P7 is, and cheap, relatively speaking) that nobody I am aware of has stuck them on that Ritter block that was built with the intention of having those heads on it. Maybe that block didn’t actually become available? Not sure. I know those heads were on...

    Good weekend at the track

Right now, if I get lucky and things go good, my goal is a couple local events, then Norwalk. 42 isn’t going to be in the cards, unfortunately. Would have really liked to do the rock n race , all my buddies will be there.

    Pro tree braket race

In my class everybody was footbraking, no brakes allowed. Allowing someone to go deep would be an advantage. Your closer so your reaction will obviously be faster. It’s to me more fun when everybody plays by the same rules. That said, I footbrake in pro class at my track, most guys ( 95% use a...

    Pro tree braket race

I have never seen deep staging allowed on a pro tree, that seems weird My business sponsored an 11.50 index class at the Norwalk Mopar race for a few years. 500 pro tree, footbrake only, no deep staging, and courtesy staging in effect, so you don’t get these guys driving in and turning on both...

    Pro tree braket race

Yes, light car and quick releasing brake helps. I am sure what the OP is looking to do will be on a 4tenths tree. Most anything 7.0 in the 1/8 or the 11.50 stuff is 5 tenths. 6.50 and 10.0 or faster is all 400 around here

Here is a complete engine ready to run. I have seen them a good bit cheaper DODGE R5 P7 RACE ENGINE – Circle Track Warehouse Inc.

    Pro tree braket race

I have only ever raced 400 pro tree stuff index racing, usually 10 flat. To me, big advantage if you are the faster car on a staggered pro tree because your more aware of when your side of the tree will pop based on his dialin and the difference.
