No skin off of my back with building an engine of your choice. There's a couple of engines in the Mopar family that I don't care much about but not gonna dis them in someone's thread. However, my only foray into an LA teen was several years ago. A buddy and I threw a handful of mismatched parts...

My sagging headliner in my 66 Belvedere got pulled out after seeing it was pretty much rotten....

Moparts is that way.....but haven't been there in pretty long time so don't know if it still is.

I wrote out my post and then had to do something for the wife and didn't see yours until after I hit the go button when I sat back down at the puter....oh well.

Too many times the 'helpful' commentary turns into a slug fest and also invites posts that are not helpful. We don't mind one or two posts that are....really helpful but when it turns into other than that....nope. Likewise, nice try to you too.

Like when someone posts 'commentary' on someone's ad that tells them the parts in their ad is junk etc etc etc????

When I bought my 66 Belvedere in 88, it wasn't too ratty but got that way when the 2000 coats of paint started lifting. Kept driving it as I removed all the paint. Filled up two 5 gallon buckets when it was said and done. It's a 2 dr sedan and pretty dang straight and got thumbs up even back...

How tall are your rear tires? Years back a buddy and I decided to play with his 72 Demon 318. Threw on and in a bunch of left over parts and a 4.10 gear and the thing rewarded us with a mid/low 14. The car was bad dead out of the hole and kinda figured the 480 lift (unknown duration etc)...

Have one that's about 3 miles too but they pay a bit less and don't take complete cars. Last time in was mostly junk parts like a drained torgue converter etc. I'm sure they will take fenders and such but haven't had anything like that in a few years now.

Yup....just about anything other than steel will bring in better money. I grab all the brass and copper that comes near me including aluminum and SS steel.
