If it is done right there is no need for the retainer. The factory didn't use the retainer, it was made for the service department so they wouldn't need to pull the column. Alan

Pop the bars out, reset lobes to about 3/6 o-clock, run adjusters in. Always make adjustments with the wheels off the ground. Drive around the block before accessing the change. Alan

I believe the cluster housing is the same, the 67 housing should mount to the 68 dash bezel. Only the speedometer is different (and tach), all the other gauges are the same. The 68 speedometer uses a clip on cable and the 67 uses a thread on. Depending on what you overall objective is you can...

Yes there should be a 90^ adapter (aka Hemi adapter), 67 only , 273 only (power steering wasn't available on the 383 in 67) It should point to the side... Hose goes forward under the battery tray and comes at the pump from the front... (I'm pretty sure it should go around the battery tray...
