I am trying to get away from the plastic one. The one in my pic is repaired & will probably work , but when it's sitting next to a chrome rear defogger it makes my OCD flair up LOL

The first ones were chrome the later ones got cheap & plastic. I am looking for a chrome one. The one in the pic is 3 pieces glued back together

I read the tutorial but the spring loaded tab won't depress

As much as I try I can't get the spring loaded tab to depress no movement what so ever. I feel it but won't budge.

Ideally you should mark them as you pulled them out
