I also had terrible experience with SSBC. Eventually got the kit to work but after numerous issues with wrong parts, missing parts, damaged parts. Definitely can’t recommend SSBC.
Apologies - this is the correct pic where the damage can be seen. I have a new bearing coming this week and will do a test fit but still wanted to solicit your thoughts about whether I need to find a new spindle too.

To close the loop on this, and after trying multiple wheel studs, we found some from napa that worked with the SSBC A153-1 kit and our 15" ralley wheels. The Napa part number is: 6413148. I've attached a photo as well.
