Rear is not in the car yet. I guess I assumed any 904 to 8 3/4 would be all be the same but thinking about it, realize a 904 to an 8 3/4 was probably not a normal factory thing. As soon as I get it hung, I'll measure. Tail of trans to centerline u joint on rear end?
Sorry it took so long to respond. Been busy and just got the car on the lift to get proper pictures, but yes, that is what it looks like is on mine. Will I not be able to use this for the 8 3/4?

I'm going to be putting an 8 3/4 in my Dart. The center chunk was out of a '67 Coronet, and it's going onto a Dart that had a 7 1/4 with a 273 and an auto trans. Anyone know which u joint will work for this set up? Obviously going to need to shorten the driveshaft as well, but curious...
Okay, last question on this, I promise. I have that annular ring and am getting ready to do the swap. On that ring, do I put it on the nose of the converter and then install the engine, and do I need to grease it or anything?

I'm going to be installing the 360 in my Dart this month. I am using the mopar electronic distributor with the orange box. I have the proper ballast resistor, but what ohm coil should I use with this set up? Any particular coils that you like better than others? I the Pertronix Flamethrower...
Very cool info. I didn't realize we had moved on from R134. Does using Duracool or Envirosafe require line changes? My originals are in really nice shape.
