Sorry I missed wear you said you had a pan. I bought a holley swap pan, that I was going to use. But the engine I bought came with a rear sump drag pack pan. So I decided to use it instead.
if you wanted to go to 5 bolt wheels, the rear axle from a ford exployer works great. I got mine from a 97. The ford 8.8 is a little narrower than the factory dodge axle. The only down side is you will have to move the spring perches in and weld on shock mounts. I cut the shock mounts of the...
2006-2010 SRT8 jeep. Here is a pick of the right side header. Also are you on Facebook? If so there is a group for gen3 hemi swaped first gen dakotas. Not my oil pan but there are a few selling hemi swap oil pans on there.
Frist very sorry for the loss of your friend. Very cool to see somebody elese building a gen3 hemi dakota. If I missed it what are you going to use for a oil pan? I am in the process of installing a 650-700 hp stroked 6.1 hemi into my 91 Dakota sport race truck. My engine came with a rear sump...
It's not cheap but I think black hawk performance is coming out with a new timing chain cover that will let you mount a big block chevy water pump with no adapter plates etc.
Has anybody had any luck with one of the wheel back spacing tools. You can find them pretty cheap now. I have seen them on line but have never used one before.
I haven't talked to him in a long time. But he built a 6 1 stroked to a 426. I am pretty sure he is useing the short Ritter intake, has a mark sullens 850 DP E85 carb. Car runs low 9 in the 1/4 but he doesn't drive it on the street.
I am useing the dual fan set up from a 06 RT charger 5.7 and I control the fans with a Dakota Digital fan controller. Which is easy to set up with your phone or laptop.
Damn I just looked and the 360 magnum intake is now $ 1000. Thsts crazey. But thanks. It's a fun truck to race with and runs pretty good for what the engine is. Lol I haven't ran it for 2 years because of health reasons. But the best I can remember the stall is around 4500-5000
I had Mike at B3 racing drill the indy intake for LA bolt pattern. He is the one I got the heads, prw rocker arms and Smith brother push rods from. Also I found a guy wanting to sell the magnum indy intake that was needing money. So I bought it brand new for $350 shipped. Of course that was 7...
The cam is a comp 555 solid lift that is 260 at 0.050 . I am also useing 1.6 roller rockers. Gears are 4.30 and am racing on a M/T 295/65/15 et street R tires. The most exotic thing about the engine is the trickflow heads.lol the engine has KB107 pistions, but the crank, rods are stock. And the...
Which works great on my pro-junk yard 360 magnum engine in my 96 dakota sport race truck. Which also doesn't seem to lack any low end torque. But the op said he didn't want a single plane intake. So my post is moot
