Took many hours of work just to clean and install the roof rail trim and weatherstrip!!!! The factory applied some additional white caulk to the top corner of the A pillar. One side done, now the other.

Windows installed today.
Took all afternoon! Finally found a guy who knows how to install and seal windows on these older cars. The big rear window was a real struggle to get seated in the seal. The S/S trim was a bigger struggle. Had some sections partially on but would not fully clip...
Back in the car, but would not run!! Looks like the bimetallic overload in the switch got fried due to high current when it was squealing. Fortunately I had another restored spare. Runs great. Dash all back in place and everything works ok including all the vacuum operated AC dampers.
Both bearings and the shaft were polished, greased and all back together. Bit of a challenge putting the end cap with the brushes back on the commutator! Ran smooth. More runs tomorrow and back in the car and bolt the dash back in place.

Back at the Cuda after a long delay due to family member health issues.
Had the headliner installed, but does not appear correct at the windshield gasket pinch areas. From my recollection of the original and factory drawing, it should not wrap around the pinch weld.
Just need to be aware that dealer nos parts may not be the same as assembly line parts. Ie finishes may very well be different. Then again, assembly line parts can vary depending on the vendor. Bottom line is that there is no right answer to your original question!.,
