    People suck

Excellent advice. I read that book about 20 years ago. Sometimes we just need some different perspective to change our mindset.

Rattling sound around trans and exhaust

I chased a rattle for months in my '74, could not find it to save my life. Turns out it was a socket that had fallen and got stuck in the header collector. Lesson -- don't forget to think simple, in addition to all of the above advice.

    People suck

Holy smokes. 5 pages of members trying to lift you up, and not once have you thanked anyone for their support. You've got some very minor damage and you're wanting to light your car on fire and roll it off a cliff? Have you seen what other people here have gone through with their cars, yet...

    Has UPS rates went up

I'd be cautious of minimizing your packaging. We can't see inside your box to see how well it's packed, but in my experience, more is definitely better. I pack my stuff as if it were going to be dropped 10 feet out of a window.....because it damn sure might....

I'd definitely shop around. Can almost guarantee Pirate Ship will be much cheaper.

    Harbor Freight sandblasting cabinet...

Excellent point. And many people overlook the quality of the air coming in. Your air needs to be CLEAN and DRY, and you need enough of it. If your compressor can't keep up with the CFM requirements of your cabinet, your blasting experience will be dismal.

    Low idle in hot weather

I appreciate all the input, gents. Naturally, I got really busy right after posting, so I haven't had time to tinker. I hope to get out there today or tomorrow and try out your suggestions. I just have to remember to pull the car into the sun early enough to get it hot (while the engine is...

    Low idle in hot weather

Thanks, everyone. I looked, and didn't immediately see a hot idle compensator. I actually don't really know if it would be readily visible in the first place? I gave the carb a once over (should've done this before posting) and it was actually loosely mounted to the intake. Snugged it up...

    how about this rotisserie?

That's a neat design, but those casters would take a heck of a lateral load when the user tries to roll it onto them. Unless I'm missing something.

    Low idle in hot weather

Hey friends, this is probably a very basic question, but here goes. '68 Barracuda with a slant, 1 barrel carb, 3 speed manual (A903). The engine starts with 2 pumps of gas after sitting for weeks, and runs great. I've noticed that in hotter weather (100F +), the engine idles quite low. I don't...

    MOPAROFFICIAL gone??

I’m getting REALLY tired of fixing **** around here!

There'd be a lot fewer cars on the road, that's for sure... I'm about an hour from the border, and you guys oughta see some of the jalopies that come up from Mexico. Yikes!!
