1965 MMP's Barracuda Hemi swap! The Ever Changing Build

My guess would be better scavenging. I would have thought a length of combined pipe, but then a split to 2 mufflers for less back pressure. Maybe being a race muffler, there's not enough BP to worry about.

    Hp70/Hp90 swap

Wish I had a better "ear to the ground", I hadn't heard anything about this till I saw that video. I just got done building & installing a 42RH. I added a drum from an A999 for extra clutch, better planetaries, Cope RMVB, etc, and built the O/D to 618 specs. But Now, as @Jason B. says "Well...

Weird AAA battery thing happened today, I’d like some opinions.

They are name brand batteries correct? I would be totally amazed, but they didn't build the batteries (or one of them) "backwards" and the voltmeter showing -1.6? Thin plastic protector film on battery that you aren't seeing because you don't have your glasses on? (that phenomenon is starting...

    Hp70/Hp90 swap

I came across this video the other day. Can't vouch for it, other than it's related to the topic at hand.

with an iphone, if you turn the phone sideways to landscape view, at the top and bottom of a thread, you can select what page you want to go to if that helps. on large threads, theres a ... button, if you hit that, you can type in what page you want to go to. I'm not sure how to look at a...

    For those who like trains.

We had a fairly large HO setup when I was younger, I have a few pieces boxed up somewhere. I can't imagine working with something that small. Cool conversation piece though. @harrisonm "How do they get an electric motor and gears in something that small???" you ever see how small the motor...

Along the same lines, manufacturers killing off manual transmissions saying auto is SO much better, to lead the public into being comfortable having everything done for them.

Max bore size for a 1969 340 Block

Mine was .030 over for years, then sat for over a decade. When I looked at a rebuild, i had it sonic checked and was told "a lot of core shift, probably ok to go another .030 if I was just going restoration and cruises etc, but for any performance minded use, best to find a different block or...

    SRT 10 totaled

I was going to say that. Jump style, or off an overpass or something.

    275/60/15 on rear of Duster/Dart

Yeah, ok, I didn’t see the sport qualifier in the original post, but since I did mention I was talking about a 68, the OP would also know I wasn’t talking about the same car either.

    275/60/15 on rear of Duster/Dart

I was running 275/60-15 on my 68. I had to trim the sheetmetal, which I wish I hadn't done. It's been so long also, but I had bought the axle assembly from someone and I think it was from a late 60's B body, but the wheels must have had more backspacing. I think they were 7" wide wheels, so the...

    Member’s 1968 GT "personalization".

You keep pretty busy for a guy that’s “I’m getting bored of working on them.” I hope I can maintain that energy once I’m “bored”.

Where did this term "chunk" come from?

New England Pumpkin, Differential, occasionally Third Member, Never heard Chunk, or Pig until I moved south I’ve heard Eldebrock, so I asked if they’re made in Mexico. Got a pretty straightforward “no, I think they’re made here”
