Jumpseat A Body Wagons/ Suburban Valiants (not sure what they called them for the lancer or if the Lancers were made with 3rd seat in '61) were only produced '60 and '61. The Trunk floor / Rear Floor / spare tire well /gas tank area on those cars are totally different from the '62 - '66 Models.

With the Wagons both front and Back seating areas are Just as small as your Lancer 4 door. The '60-'62 A bodys are a stretch with comfort and Legroom for any person over 6' tall. The wagon is nice for a bit more on the Cargo Space. I do not have an a body '63-'66 wagon to compare it to...
