Any one interested in the oiling mods I did?

This is all good stuff, and have been reading for hours. Istarted the mods on my 340 and where it says to drill and tap lifter from #1 main for a 5/16 plug, problem is mine is bigger than that to start with, any thoughts. I spin to 7000 but might go to 7500 and dont want oiling problems.
