Can you ID this Mopar gearbox?
A problem about the bellhousing.
I want to install this A833 into my Demon, but my current '71 3-speed bellhousing doesn't accept 4-speed gearbox.
So, I have to use the 1966 bellhousing coming with the gearbox
Ok...
BUT, I saw that the Z-bar linkage attachment is different on the 1966 BH and on the 1971 BH :(
It took the dimensions of the two BH ball studs
They are both 6 cm long (or 2.36 inches, or 2(23/64) in.) including the bracket thickness
With a little luck, maybe that the BH ball stud, despite the difference of mounting bracket, is in the same location in 1966 and 1971..?
Any help before the 3-speed gearbox removal will be greatly appreciated :thankyou:
