Thanks, and I see they have a bright red option. I'll be ordering color samples. Butch likes a tan, I'm a fan of the bright (porno) red, matching the bright red exterior scheme reminiscent of his 73 Pro Stock Duster.

There will not be any silver on the car like the rendering, what appears to be a silver stripe on the lower portion is really shadowing. The way I prefer is all bright red with the red and lettering on the race car scheme ghosted.....but I think Butch is gonna over rule me and go with a red / while combo like the rendering.

The plan, which I am already azz deep into, is a street strut using the SN95 spindles and QA1 Mustang strut. Numerous reasons why... but this was my best solution. I basically adapted 96-04 OEM Mustang geometry to my front subframe.

The $100 OEM Mustang arms are used make a jig for building a set of mock-up adjustable track width LCA's. Once optimum length / position of the LCA ball joint pivot is established, the plan is to re-use the jig to make the finished arms.

Did I mention I luv to build stuff.

BTW...what seats do you have in your Duster,? I sat in them @ MoParty and thought they were very comfortable. I might need to get a set for this build.
After reading this it clear that I don't speak or read Portugueses! Just Awesome.

Will you please take this thing down the drag strip when you're done? No reason it can't run 8s with that motor!

I'm sure it will get an exhibition pass somewhere. Butch is itching to go 200 mph.(again). Me, my (pucker) limit would be somewhere around 150.

Interesting lower control arms.....

I saw them sketched on a cocktail napkin at Somma's Pizza / Plum, PA a while back. They are for coil springs but the pivot points is what were needed. They will work A-OK for making a jig to fabricate the next step.....mock-up LCA arms.

Hot Rod night tonight and the Hemi Demon, HDK and the status of my Hemi build dominated the conversation tonight. The cocktail napkin conversation came up! Such a great memory for me.

I'm still grinnin'......and it as more than a decade ago.

more mock up.....working my way to the back. Went with a Strange 9" w/ 3.25 gear. Originally planned for a Strange S-60 but the lowest gear available was a 3:55

this combo will put Butch at 1820 rpm at 70mph with the .75 overdrive engaged............@ 5200 rpm he will hit 200 mph. SHAZAM!!!!!

rear 31.5 tall tires have a sectional width of 15-1/2" .....should be good with 1-1/2 plus on each side of the tires.

fake Super Tricks almost done mounted up on the street tires we are running. Just need a Strange decal for the axle (cap)

last pic is a real Super Trick / Moroso DS-2 drag tire for comparison.

Mating the front with the rear. With sub assemblies already test fitted, next up while on the table are the isolated shock mounts and panard bar, then fuel tank install.

Have I ever said I like making stuff?.

Fog (HDK welder / fabricator) likes to check....re-check, then check again

Wow, that's quite a nice shop

That is Fogs addition to his original shop he built a couple of years ago. He and I have a joint venture under construction right next door, The front 2/3 will be the new HDK world headquarters while he will retain the rear 1/3.
