    Anyone seen these Tires before?

My car does not mind where they are made. Burns them the same. Lol! I kinda like the different name on the side then BFG. I miss the 80’s and all the cool white lettering and names.

    904 question

First things first: What year is the transmission? What engine? Did you double check the fluid level in neutral / running at idle and level ground?

    Wide body

And a NISMO turbo 4. And don’t forget the right hand drive. Lol!

Is my cooling system operating normal?

I’ll chime in on this subject. Why 160 t stat? Run a high flow 180. When the thermostat is open solid… there is not time for fluid to slowdown and actually get cooled in the radiator. It is flowing pretty fast with those gears/engine rpm. Also, I’m not a fan of aluminum radiators. I run copper...

Roof Rail molding installation 65 Barracuda

So when I did mine on my 66’ fresh paint and the moldings were freshly straightened and polished. I wiped dawn on the painted lip and put the moldings on the top and pushed down and in toward the doors to pop them on and a few taps with a soft mallet(white rubber) walk one end windshield toward...

    New Satin black paint found

What happened to the process of adding “eggshell” to black gloss? It was a process used back in the 70’s and 80’s to give the same effect about the time Centari (DuPont) was popular with the additive 2000 Gardner pack to create a eurothain enamel. The issue was always once you did a satin...

    71 demon

If factory 318- then 8-3/4 rear was standard. Okay- all the Demons I owned that were v-8’s were 8-3/4. The slant six cars were 7-1/4” But somebody on here that knew a guy that was related to a guy on the second shift at Chrysler will say otherwise. lol! I do not recommend a 7-1/4 regardless of...

    68 383 Formula S rant

You could always turn (no pun intended) to an electric ps unit from an electric car. Mounts under the dash I believe not under the hood.

    1920 Economaster Accel Pump

Those holes are there for adjustment when guys at the dealers and smaller garages could actually tune a carb when a client had an issue. Fuels have changes and so have the driving conditions. If #2 works for you then run it. The factory suggestions are just that - suggestions to get you close...

Narrowed a set of steel wheels

Great job! I also want to add that companies start somewhere. We all look to big companies to do the work we are taught are best left to professionals. Even me, a certified welder who’s been a heavy mechanic for over 35 years would not dare tackle wheels…. But somebody has to and those few brave...

    Wiper refills

If you buy plain Jane cheap wipers - I have found (and trust me wipers are now gold, cost wise at auto parts stores) and remove the inserts and cut them down, they fit in the old wipers IF you squeeze the guides at the far edge. It does not take much to hold them in the original style wipers. I...

    Thoughts On This Video

If a video pops up of his and it plays for any amount of time, my wife yells out, “can you turn that down, that guy is annoying.” His energy is way too much. Doesn’t matter where in the house you are, it’s annoying. Follow the direction on the ring manufactures cards. Gaps are different...

    Torsion bar adjustment trouble

Is it possible your hex on the torsion bar is off one flat either at the adjuster or at the back? Not that your bar is made wrong but you slid (or some one) it into the hex while the left was lower then when the right (or vice a versa) went back together?

Current ratio in the van (8-1/4) is 3.08 (Could be 3:00) I just bought an overdrive a518 for it. So going 3:23 would be not a huge difference. I also just now found out the axles can be drilled for the small bolt pattern. I may go that route. It’s a street van. Not looking for 1/4 mile stuff I...
