Agree. BFG have the history and look better for an old school look if you go white letter out. I prefer blackwall out for a clean look. Your car is beautiful.

Coopers are a good and popular tire, but I prefer the looks of the BFG. I had Coops on my car when I had steelies on it. When I swapped to Cragars, i went BFG. I don't dive my car in such a way that I could even tell a difference. The only thing I will say, is some BFG still have the Brown Wall...

I second the AVS2. I would say that it's the best street carb out there. Also agree with the tuning kit. They're very easy carbs and the throttle response is great. I had an issue with boiling fuel, but a spacer cured that 100%.

1972 Duster. 275-60-15 on 15x8 w/4.5 works perfect. I'm all stock, no cutting, no spring relocation or SS springs and no air shocks. Fit perfectly and don't rub, even hitting train tracks at the 30mph.

True. I'm one of the offenders, but it's been painted for 20+yrs, so not my fault. ;) B5 is my favorite, but I found this nice InViolet Duster. It was a lot of car for the money, so I snagged it a few years back.

Mine was doing smilar, until I got a composite carb spacer. I have an Edelbrock AVS2, RPM intake with Iron X-heads. When I would stop to get gas, it wouldn't start, or start, then shut off. It was percolating. The spacer cured it.
