    No Headlights 2.0

As I said, eventually the switch wouldn't even make the clicking sound when depressed. So was internal in the switch; not contacts. Not wort "investigating" where it went bad, as new one was just $10. My personal time is worth more than the switch was.

HEADLIGHTS SOLVED!!! I already had new dimmer switch and headlight switch in hand. But.......The dimmer switch stopped even making the clicking sound when depressed. SO! IT WAS THE BAD DIMMER SWITCH! Problem solved! Let there be light!

EXACT LOCATION OF BARRACUDA HEADLIGHT GROUND WIRE

Ok. So I'm done resfreshing most all the grounds up front on the Barracuda. And this afternoon I found the loose connector on my PT Cruiser resposible for my turn signal and side amrkers not working on the passenger side. Feeling frisky! So, NOW on to the real detective work looking for the...

    No Headlights 2.0

Have had no electrical problems for a year now with the 67 Barrcuda. When I had the dash apart to replace the dash bezels , I did attempt to put in a new headlight switch. **But, after several hours trying, I never could get the stem to come out. So, I just put the old switch back in. (It...

Yup! Mine's not an original restoration anyway. So, I was wondering about other aftermarket replacements. Thx

[WANTED] ISO: Disc Brake Master Cylinder for 1967 Barracuda

Yes I would be interested. Is it just old, or reman? Regardless of some opinions, the service manual and MOPAR specs note that the larger reservoir is needed for front disc brakes. That would be the explanation for concerning "travel", despite a 4 piston upgrade. We can finish any discussion by...

[WANTED] ISO: Disc Brake Master Cylinder for 1967 Barracuda

Yes! As I am mechanically challenged, I don't know if the size of the brake push rod translates into a problem for upgrading the MC. Is it a one size fits all rod? Does it take a different size MC piston seal. Just clueless about potential complications.

[WANTED] ISO: Disc Brake Master Cylinder for 1967 Barracuda

So, is there any concern about my current drum brake MC and the piston rod size for upgrade to disc MC???

[WANTED] ISO: Disc Brake Master Cylinder for 1967 Barracuda

Previous owner left the drum brake only MC on my 67 Barracuda that he converted to front disc brakes. So when I replaced the from discs with Willwoods, I get no difference in travel. NEED: MC part number 280 8600; casting number 222 5541 for disc brakes.

Master Cylinder - 67 Barracuda converted to front disc brakes

Yes! Expected a little more of both; stopping power and pedal resistance. But,if you look at my original post, you see that the previous owner left the drum brake MC on the car, even after he put discs on the front. I'm a pretty careful driver with the Barracuda, so it's just fine for now...

Master Cylinder - 67 Barracuda converted to front disc brakes

1967 Baracuda was upgraded to front disc brakes by the previous owner. With all the "cobbling" that they did on the brakes, that we have fixed, do I have the correct Master Cylinder? I've now got 4 Piston Willwood caliper up front; but the pedal doesn't seem any better than it was with the MOPAR...

HELP NEEDED Identifying Brake Spindle - likely from a late 70s Volare

WELL, THE BRAKE and SPINDLE SAGA FINALLY ENDED ON A POSITIVE NOTE! The key was discovering that he previous owner had put '78ish Volare Spindles on my 67 Barracuda. We weren't happy with grinding the edges of the single piston MOPAR calipers; and Wilwood actually had an upgrade kit for that...

    MOPAR Dead?

4 of my 7 PT Cruiser have been turbos! Never a problem with any of them. If they had a sales problem, they should have updated and redesigned the PT. During the 10 year run, it was #3 in sales. Only more 300s and Ram pickups were sold during that period. All my vehicles have been MOPARS. The...
