the brass double female fittings. thank you for your time. RR. EDIT I purchased some 3/8-24 Ebay fittings listed for 3/16 brake lines but they were slightly to big. the double flared line would seat into the fitting but the brass male thread was slightly too big to thread in.

heard several non mechanics lately talking about getting new pad/rotors turned on their cars. when is it really needed to turn the rotors? I just did the front discs on my 79 dodge B2500 van & after several days of grinding I finally put new pads in/retracted the piston with a c clamp was easy...

79 dodge ram van. outer pad on front dr side is down to metal on metal. can I retract the piston with a clamp & just replace the pads or might that make a leak or would it be better to replace the caliper/pads & bleed it out? thank you for your time. RR

73 dart disc/drum. pads are tight/shoes adjusted up/bled MC/4 corners. the pedal is almost to the floorboard tho it does stop but it is worrysome. any thoughts on where to go next? RR. EDIT forgot that I just posted this several days ago (its starting to happen!)

73 dart OE disc drum. pedal goes almost all the way to the floor & it does not pump up. pulled one front/rear (hard to get the lug wrench on the nuts on the mag wheels so just did one side) & up front one pad of the two was pretty thin as was one of the linings on the left rear & the drum did...

aftermarket velvetouch metallic linings. they are 2.5" wide. any thoughts on what front/rear applications they work on? I'm hoping BBP 8&3/4 rear, 10" I would assume. thank you for your time. RR
