Project or parts car for sale. Car was originally a 383 2 barrel car. I do not have the original engine for the car. Also missing the fender tag and broadcast sheet. The car has a bad left front frame rail. I might be able to include a replacement frame rail. If not, I will toss in a frame cap from Auto Rust Technicians. Car currently has a 440 in it, but I'm not sure that it is any good. Water went down the carb several years ago, but didn't make it to the oil pan. Did not try to turn engine over. 727 trans was rebuilt in either 1999 or 2000. Trans has roughly 2000 miles on since rebuild. The car has been sitting since 2000 when I noticed the frame rail issue.

The body is rough. There is rust at the front and rear of the passenger rocker panel. Trunk lid is rusted badly at the bottom edge. Trunk lid it also missing the lock. Will need a new rear bumper. Wheel wells need minor patch work. Front windshield leeks water.

The interior is also pretty rough. It will need new carpet and a headliner. The front buckets will need recovered and one seat foam. The dash pad is cracked. Passenger door panel is tore up. Back seat looks real nice.

I am asking for $1700 for the car. Car is located in Patton, PA.

How is the grill?
Disk or drum brakes?
Manual or power steering and brakes?
What is the hood from a sebring plus?
 
The grille is in very good shape. No known cracks. No bird for the grille. I should have an NOS Satellite grille emblem somewhere. The brakes are drum all the way around. Car has power steering and brakes. Hood is a standard Satellite hood. Auto on the column. Car has a 7 1/4 rear. I do have the title for the car.

No the 71-72 satellite 2dr hoods are the same length and width as the 71-72 RR hoods. You are thinking of a 71-72 Satellite 4dr which do not have a header and go all the way to the bumper.

To the original poster. How solid is the RH front fender? Would you be willing to part it out?

I have a bunch of Barracuda trim and misc parts in the trunk. Nothing of much weight. I was thinking that it sat low because of the rims and tires on the car, but after looking at it today it does have a flat spring.

I have had a couple of inquiries on parting the car out. If I can get rid of a lot of it then I will.

I will have to check on the fender for you.
