Regardless if you're buying one of our "CTF" fuel injected engines, or if you're purchasing the sniper directly from us by itself as a 550-510 / 550-511...
You CANNOT run these without the oxygen sensor properly installed. We have had an increasing amount of customers that wanted to "just hear the engine run" or "just move the car a few feet" and have either left the 02 sensor unhooked, or tried to dangle it in front of an open header.

If you do the above, you will end up with 8 fouled spark plugs in a very short matter of time. the system reverts to full rich, and carbons up plugs in a matter of minutes.

the O2 sensor is advised to be mounted at least 18 inches from the tailpipe exit, and 6 inches after the collector merge to get a good signal from the entire bank.

Any luck getting those vacuum numbers?
sorry i snoozed on this one. our 632 makes about 7 at idle. I called holley for you and their safe number is also 7. I was advised that it will work with less vac than 7, by tuning the base fuel table. but thats your call if you are comfortable with some tuning yourself, outside of the self learn.
 
What can be done as far as timing control for us slant 6 guys? I also noticed holley released a BBD kit. Have you seen anyone run one of these on a super 6 intake?

i saw the new jeep offering, pretty neat. They also released a new 2 bbl flange version. The timing control is pretty picky with what equipment it works with. I have preached that pretty hard since day 1. Until someone releases a pro billet or dual sync type slant distributor, we're limited to a CDI box, or a ready to run type offering, both of which only support fuel only. sorry i dont have any other solutions i know of.

I’ve never done it but I’m sure it’s something that can be learned easily enough with a bit of research.
 
Guys, wanted to bump this to the top, with all the recent threads asking for help picking an EFI system. I recently added the required 2 wire pro billet distributors for you big block B and RB guys! and i still have the smallblock versions as well.

For you big block guys, I imagine most of you know, but i will mention these B/RB units are tall, much like an MSD. So just note, that tall valve covers, aftermarket heads, A/C, may require some clearance-ing. (AKA if you aren't ok with possibly having to file on a valve cover or head...then best we talk about that before you purchase.
